I'm afraid I never got a useable answer to my question. I did get one
response that was promising (thanks to Ianko) but the extension referenced
had to be purchased. Our budget for new software at this moment is
non-existent so I wasn't able to pursue that possibility. I did get a list
of all of the street intersections in the city but it was not a pretty
process. I basically did a query on all of the street segments sharing a
from- and/or to-node and then organized the mess in Access and Excel. If
anyone ever finds an easier way of doing this please let me know.

You can try EditTools extension. Its export nodes function will do exactly
